- Unfortunately there are no programms running on the Amiga to print Gerber
- files (at least no PD-programms). So you can forget the Gerber files.
- But there is a possibility to print PostScript files. What you need to print
- PostScript files is subject of the following section:
-
- If you want to print a PostScript file you will need either a printer which
- understands the PostScript language or you will need an interpreter. I assume
- that you don't have such a printer because they are very expensive. So you
- need an interpreter, which reads the PostScript file and prints it on your
- "normal" printer. A PostScript interpreter for the Amiga is for example the
- program "Post" which can be found on Fish #828. If you have both an Amiga and
- an IBM-PC clone, you can use the program "GhostScript" too, which is a
- shareware program for IBM-PCs. Since PostScript is a standard printer language
- it does not matter from which computer type a PostScript file is printed.
